Maja Swart Secretary/Sekretaresse (S135 and PALM)
I am a breeder, exhibitor & international judge. I am quite harsh on flecking and like deep low masks with big beautiful round spots. I usually pair a very good cock to a suitable hen which will enhance each other’s good features. My favorite color is a Grey Green Easley Clearbody although I now breed more normals than rares. I usually pair to get good progeny, not to breed a specific variety. I stay in Cradock in the Eastern Cape. I am in partnership with Pierre Swart. PALM) I am a breeder, exhibitor & international judge. I must admit I hate showing and would love to do just the breeding and judging side of the hobby. I am totally focused on head quality and good deportment. Nothing beats a good quality Opaline Skyblue Cock. It is for me something that I would love to win a show with, but so far it has avoided me. Willem Schnugh (S47) Wilma my lifelong partner and I started with budgerigars in 2007. Our bloodlines are mainly from Pierre & Maja and Molkentin. We have a stud of around 200 birds and use 15 breeding cages for breeding. In 2010 we were the Champion of Novices. We have not a preference for a specific colour but admire any quality budgie. |

| Piet Van Den Berg (V48) We are very fortunate to stay in Jeffrey bay, after we retired from farming in the Free State and the end 0f 2006. We wanted something challenging to occupy our free time and decided to venture in show budgies. We bought some birds from Pierre & Maja of which one was quality Double Factor Spangle Cock. With his offspring and by careful line breeding we build up a quality stud. We breed most colors and varieties and try to compete at most of the shows every year which resulted us to be promoted to champions at the end of the 2011 season. Keano Van Eden (KSVE) I am Keanu van Eden staying in Cradock. I am very interested in breeding show budgies. I love double factor spangles and albinos as well as lutinos. At this point and time my breeding success is not very good, but I will keep on trying. I am looking forward to the day I can exhibit my budgies and hopefully win first prizes. Flip Wasink (W45) I started in 1972 with show budgies and am a champion breeder. I bought my first budgies from Piet vd Bijl Smuts. My favourite colors is Lutinos, albinos and Recessive pieds, in 2011 I registered my first Champion bird a Recessive pied cock with ring no W45-68-09, I would also like to register a lutino champion bird in the near future. I try to attend as much shows as possible. Since I have started with show budgies I have never been without them |

| Christel Wium (W3) I am Christel Wium residing in Kraaifontein in the Western Cape. I breed show budgies for some years now and am a champion breeder I am in with my parents Errol and Alma, and brother Drikus. We have been promoted from white ribbon champion to Yellow ribbon champion at the end of the 2011 show season. We had very good successes the last few years with dilutes and Albinos and Lacewings winning a number of Challenge Certificates in these varieties and some others.
