TIP: CLEANING OF SHOWCAGES
“I have cleaned many show cages before shows; the following procedure works best for me.
First I dampen any old show stickers on the cage with turpentine, let it stand for a few minutes
and then the stickers peel of very easy, some of the glue may still remain on the show cage,
which is easy removed by a damp turpentine cloth.
I then spray the lightly with Viru Kill
solution and water, again let it stand for a few minutes and then wipe it clean with a CAR CHAMIOUS,
which works very well, because of its soaking abilities and it will not leave any small rag remains.
The show cage is then left in the sun for a few hours. The sun removes the slight yellow that
is sometime on the white inside of the show cage” Pierre Swart
